In a shocking interview, Sherlock creator Steven Moffat cryptically tells us, “Let’s just say Sherlock and John both get a new love interest this series…and they’ve been under one another’s noses the whole time!”
Could this be the reveal the internet has been waiting for? ‘Partner in crime’ Mark Gatiss also says, “There’ll be a few unexpected kisses towards the end of the series. It took a while for the BBC to be sure about this, but we’ve got it! Just you wait, internet.”
Interviewer Paul Cooper was baffled when he went onset to see what the cast and crew were getting up to. Let’s just say Martin and Benedict seem to have even better chemistry than usual!
how to be an asshole: a guide in pictures
what the fuck is wrong with this fandom omfg
dude do you understand what we’re going through
i mean really
there is NO excuse EVER for being an asshole
Somewhere between stuff like this and how they behave about “Elementary”, the fandom is really starting to turn me off “Sherlock” hardcore.
BBC Sherlock fandom has long since beaten out Supernatural as the worst fandom
Like this just pointless and mean
Why ruin other people’s fandoms? It’s just arsehole behaviour
The absolute *best* part of this, however (other than “DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT WE’RE GOING THROUGH” holy shit take a step back and reevaluate your priorities there), is that the members of the “observant” fandom misspelled the name of the show whose fandom they’re trying to spam. So all this shit is going down in #downtownabbey while #DownTONabbey just looks on in head-shaking amusement.
I’m glad that at no point in my life have a felt that a show I was really really really into not getting an award was a life-destroying event. Or that the appropriate response was to seek out and hound people who like something else that happened to do better. (By the way, while awards shows are not always quite what I would call right in their choices, I think Downton won over Sherlock because it’s a better fucking show.) I hope you’re all very, very young, because it’s literally the only excuse, and it won’t last.
Good thing you spell as well as you empathize, I guess.
It is embarrassing. I don’t want to go out and have some poor person be like “Oh… you’re a Sherlock fan” and try to get away because they think I’m going to be fucking insane. I really have to say, this is one of the fan-bases I’ve been most disappointed in.
